Milo was “France” for United Nations day at his school last week. His outfit got rave reviews all day and included a beret, black turtleneck, a navy velour bath robe-cum-smoking jacket, une petite moustache, and a snarky attitude.
All of the kids brought food from their country and we had a big potluck. Milo brought baguettes, fromage (Brie & Raclette), and grapes.
Lot’s of singing and learning about different cultures.
I sure love that kid. Or should I say, “T’aim.” I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO SAY THAT IN FRENCH!
Crazy cute!
I second that crazy cute!
Je t’aime or Je t’adore would work!
Milo, to help you prepare for your big day, here is a French primer:
“Oui, je souhaite l’amour de se rendre.”
“Yes, I would love to surrender.”
“Vous avez seulement 12 sortes de fromages au menu?”
“You only have 12 kinds of cheese on the menu?”
“Je ne peux pas vous aider, je suis en vacances.”
“I cannot assist you, I am on vacation.”
Now go get ’em kid!
