scene: Milo and I, walking down the snowy sidewalk last night to go order some takeout for dinner.

Me: A Thai food restaurant.
pause…
Milo: Like a tying your shoes restaurant?

Raw spinach and Crumbled Gorgonzola
Milo has had a cold for the past few days. Tonight Rachel made dinner: simple pasta with tomatoes and steamed broccoli (2 of Milo’s favorites). He didn’t touch a bite and instead opted for a dinner of undressed raw spinach with crumbled Gorgonzola (components of our salad).
The kid is peculiar.
Honk out
Morgan (speaking to Rachel): “Maybe we should leave around noon and hopefully he’ll conk out in the car”
Milo (the peanut gallery): “No, I’m going to honk out in the car”
