1) Names with 2 pronunciation possibilities make introductions wonderfully awkward. 2) It worked for Kundera. 3) I just got back from a vacation in Italy, and Venice sounded like David Beckham’s next child.
Finley
ok- here’s another family name. I found in our family bible today – and I love the nickname Finn but, did a celebrity just name their baby Finn??
Lucinda
I love plain ole Lucy, but Morgan thought it might be too juvenile for the adult “Lucy” so I ‘ve been trying to think of another form of the name other than Lucille or Lucia and thought of Lucinda – its got a slight country tinge to it, but I like it for a proper adult name- ( if that’s needed!)
zuzu
reference – zuzu’s petals in “it’s a wonderful life.” always loved the name and the sentiment. i know it’s a christmas movie but it’s more about your value and impact in the world and on others. 🙂

by Jean-Luc Godard

Anna Karina played Odile (and was married to Godard for awhile).
And there is a font named Odile …
