In Butte, MT, especially on “the hill”, they start celebrating the 4th of July early. M.E.’s cousins had a big party and we were all invited. We enjoyed the pyromania with Ann, M.E., Dan, Joe and Nora.

A year in homes
It’s our last night in Omaha. We’ve had a great time here in the heartland. On the eve of our next adventure I thought I’d take a little inventory of some of our favorite abodes over the past year. Quite a range, eh? Well, we’re off again – heading to Montana and then on to Pullman Washington and then Seattle. The last hurrah before we come back to earth and re-enter the default world.

Soon to be dad test drives Milo
I’m thinking that given the recession, this could be a good way to bring in some extra cash. We can rent Milo out to soon to be first time fathers for practice runs. Here’s Milo giving my friend Erik a session on hand washing and power flopping (he and Adele are due on June 11).
