A lingering languorous lunch
During Granny’s recent visit east, Gammy treated us all to a fabulous lunch at The Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn (Connecticut). The day and setting was perfect and it was wonderful to be able to eat slowly and unhurried. We spent hours at our table enjoying our meal, sipping Bloody Mary’s before, and nibbling on desserts after. Thanks Judy!!
In the spirit of my friend Katie, whose blog posts make you salivate with envy, behold:

Rachel gets a sippy cup
After chronically knocking over water glasses for years, and acutely knocking them over for several days in a row, this 41 year old women finally broke down and bought herself a sippy cup…and a wave of relief passed through the household knowing that our iphones and ipods and laptops and books and papers would finally, finally be safe.
2012 Passover
Had a really fun Passover weekend in CT with Rachel’s family this year. Omer and Rebecca were in from Israel. David and Adina were in from Tahoe. And most of the other usual suspects were present. I was personally in pain most of the time from consuming so much food. Was fun hanging out with all of the cousins and it was great to see Rachel and Rebecca’s bellies together. So exciting that these 2 cousins will be so close together in age! Here’s the photo essay:

2012 Mexico
Our wonderful amigos Catherine, Jorge, Caya & Magda invited us down to their home in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. We had a great vacation exploring Mérida with them as well as trips to the Mayan ruins at Uxmal (oosh•mal) and a little island paradise called Holbox (hole•bosh).

2011 Holidays in Napa
Um, so I thought I would commemorate the 4-month anniversary of our arrival in Napa for the holidays last December with this much belated blog post. I have a whole slew of belated blog posts in the works so apologies in advance for the onslaught. Warning – these may involve mass dumpage of photos rather than witty recaps of funny Milo quotes or reflections of memories of my great grandma.
We had a fab time on the left coast hosted in large part by the Mosher clan in their sweet new home – thanks Moshers!
